sound on laptop help

    Hi folks anybody help with a sound problem on my laptop,i have no sound at all and the little sound icon has vanished out of the system tray.all the drivers are installed correctly,thanks in advance.

    Try sound and audio properties

    in the control panel. Is the mute box ticked?
