And I certainly can't complain at the team selection. Sometimes you do everything right and it still doesn't go for you. That's football. Can't see the point in having a go at the manager or any of the players when that happens. They deserve some praise and we need to get behind them on Saturday.
Completely Agree. Sounds like I was listening to the same game as you and not this game where we sat back and let them pepper us, which some people reckon they've heard.
You're pretty spot on with that mate
Good team performance, plenty of hard work, decent play at times, but as seems to be often the case with us, we didn't get the rub of the green.
The officials were making poor (or should I say baffling) decisions all game - for both teams - and the penalty was a real sickener.
Yet again feels like a loss

Souza and Moore both started badly I thought, but improved as the game went on.
Looked a pretty bad injury though.
You're right about Sir Bobby, yet again he had a great performance

we did but still doesnt hide the fact Davey didnt change it when he should have once again we were getting totally overrun and not seeing anything of the ball. When we had it we just constantly gave it away cheaply. JCR was again a large culprit of this. Im not a Andranik fan but i think he should have been on with 15 mins to go to shore up the midfield and leave oddjob or maken on his own upfront. Still gutted. Ill say it again though - all the above ought to be irrelevant with the chances our strikers missed ONCE AGAIN. If we fail to stay in this league then Daveys failure to sort out the striker situation will have cost us dearly. On the upside i thought Boggy played well tonight until he tired and got injured. Hope we get at least a point v Wolves now. getting to touching cloth moment.
Just got back..gutted We probably just about deserved a win on balance though both teams had their chances.
How on Earth Officials that clearly are not 100% sure about what happened can make a decision like that in the last minute beggars belief. Ref had pointed for a corner at firs it seemed

RE: we did but still doesnt hide the fact Davey didnt change it when he should have No idea how Boggy missed that chance in the first half. Looked like a tap in to me.

RE: we did but still doesnt hide the fact Davey didnt change it when he should have i think it might have bounced wrong side of him. I thought it was in. Mackens was a sitter at our end too.
RE: we did but still doesnt hide the fact Davey didnt change it when he should have I wasn't sure about Macken's effort, one of those where it either just goes in the corner (as he had to shoot across goal), or goes wide, unfortunately this time it went just wide.
What I did notice (or should I say my Dad noticed) was the very good movement by Macken to get into the position for the shot

Colace got in a cracking goal scoring position and shat himself looked everywhere to pass the ball instead of have a shot. Dont know why cos he can hit a ball well. That and the pathetic attempt to close down the shot that lead to the penalty have made him look a like a bottler. Shame cos i quite like him as a player.
