Won't make a difference. I remember when Luton lost their Manager in November, they brought in Rob Edwards and he got them promoted to the Premier League the same season, when most people expected them to drop off.

Well I haven't stopped laffing yet at Lutaarn in their current bad predicament.
They clearly are a struggling (or about 15th at best) team, in the Championship.
And now the novelty has well and truly worn off, and hey even as we speak, Charlton Morris is off somewhere playing golf.

Don't really get the animosity towards Luton. Good, honest club and backbone of the community in an economically deprived town which hasn't had a lot to cheer about in recent years. Sounds pretty familiar to me.

Tahh for your reply Merde kid lol.
But I don't have to explain to anybody, why I don't like Lutaarn, do I.

You don't, but I'm just curious. No local rivalry, no historical beef between the clubs, generally very friendly fans in my experience. I can't see any reasons to dislike Luton Town.

That's just it Merde kid, it's got nothing to do with local fan rivalries.
And it's nothing to do with club differences over the years either.
It's just MY personal reasons as to why I think this, ok.

There's also strong rumours about 2 or 3 of their better players leaving too.

Slightly off topic, but 'not the top 20' podcast released their mid-season predictions yesterday, and felt the current top 4 will probably remain a top 4, but with Birmingham and Huddersfield running away with it eventually. They pointed to a lot of disruption at Wycombe, and Wrexham's iffy away form being the main factors.

They also predicted us to maintain 5th, as they felt that out of all the chasing pack for the play-offs, we're the least likely to have major instability in the second half of the season like a few other sides around us. E.g. Stockport have lost their top scorer, Reading their manager and are having off field issues still etc. They felt that we're unlikely to lose Clarke, and are realistically going to hold onto our better players, so should only build on our recent good form. I can't say I disagree, though it really is dependent on who we sign this month.

I reckon we can have a dart at top two if we hang onto Phillips and sign another striker or two. If we lose Phillips still need fire power but it will be more difficult.

I'm similar to Acido, not a fan. For me all rooted in jealousy I suppose. Irks to see a team comprised of our ex-players (bought on the cheap) playing at a level or two above us.
Not their fault i know, but its a bit like asking me to root for my ex's new boyfriend. The fact that he's as ugly & poor as me just compounds the feelings, especially when the TV keeps telling me how wonderful they are together

I'd feel a lot better if she was shacked up with some Holywood A-lister, at least then I would be able to tell myself it was inevitable & that I didn't f*ck up.

They’re usually pretty accurate these two, they know their stuff alright. Always a great listen.

See it’s been announced he’s gone there.
Find the move a little weird and what his motivation is to go?
Wycombe - newish owners who are promising to spend money and a club that appears to be on the up v Luton a club who granted were in PL last year but it’s evident it was a fluke, don’t have lots of money etc

Luton have years of parachute payments and a new ground on the way in the next few years. Wycombe have had 1 season in the top two leagues ever.

“Mr Wycombe” they called him. Over 500 league appearances for them. I can’t see this ending well for either team. He’ll try to tempt a couple of their better players to Luton and they will probably not be good enough. Wycombe will now slide back to mid table having lost their top scorer. Oh well, that’s football I suppose.
