    Isn't that what Mr Hill promised us, or was our abhortion of trying to do that his version?

    We were running around like headless, wingless, bollockless chickens chasing shadows.

    Soton deserved to win. We were pathetic. We do not appear to have the players capable of playing the Southampton way.

    Roll on Tuesday for episode 3 of Barnsley Nil.

    we don't have the resources sthmptons got some of their players are premiere lge class.no reason to panic, leeds are supposed to be a very good side this year and the saints murdered them last week

    Very poor today. Play like barca all we want in pre season but when it came to the nitty gritty today we were shocking. Southampton looked a good side but there will be some better sides than them come to Oakwell this season. They bossed us and deserved their win...the only downer for them was that they did not win by 3 or more. Better sides will put their chances away. We can be delighted with our 1-0 defeat today as it could easily have been 2 or 3 nil.
