can someone explain why the players at southampton are having there wages deferred when it's the holding company who have gone into admin, they were saying that the football club is still making money so why aren't the players getting paid by the football club ?

FL are meeting tomorrow I think to discuss this, I would be very suprised if they aren't docked points tbh. They have given big deductions to a few clubs now (Leeds, Rotherham, Bournemouth, Luton, Boston) so I think they will do the same here fgor trying to bend the rules.

    I agree

I think the Football League will be well aware of the fact that were they to allow Southampton to avoid a 10 point deduction, counter claims against them will almost immediately come from the other clubs you've mentioned headed by a certain Mr. Bates.
