    I'd honestly rather see us out of it straight away.

    Cup runs are for stable mid table sides.

    someone would honestly want us to lose and miss out the chance on a possible money spinning match down the line. Plus a good cup run would breed confidence for the league.

    Yeah cup run is doing great for Southends season. Look at the confidence with which they are now playing with.

    I understand what the other poster was saying that it can become a distraction rather than help the teams fortune, im not saying i want to see us go out just that the league is more important than the cup.
