RE: Southend Away - Gutted. "I wanted a big team!" So did they. And they've ended up with a bag of ***** as a draw too.
We can't complain at a team in the league below us who are only 11th and have lost 5 games at home this season
Not what we wanted at all But the one good thing is I suspect they will be even more pissed off than we are At least it gives us a chance to progress - and I can get there
Excellent! Weekend away then ... just not in Southend!! It's about time me & him indoors took off for a long weekender. Perfect excuse.(Y)
What's So Bad About The Draw? It's an excellent chance to progress and make some more money, against a team we have a good record against.
Why should they be ... more pissed off than us?
I mean, we are a bigger, better, higher, better supported, more footbally team than them.
They have drawn a decent side. We would be a scalp to them. Absolutely nowt said about it on TV but you watch if they win, it'll be a giant killing.
Oh yes!

You are probably right there When you've come through rounds 1 and 2, make it to the 4th round and still don't get a Premiership side.
Make some money? Like if we had got Man U or Arsenal you mean? Playing at Southend isn't going to break the bank really is it?
An Heavy Defeat Wouldn't Help Us It would knock the players confidence. We should win such a simple tie and then eventually draw a big team.
I really dont get your logic If a big team leads to a heavy defeat and loss of confidence why would it be any better getting one in the fifth or 6th round and getting stuffed then? In any case if we lose to Southend - which is decidedly possible what does that do for confidence? And they beat us last year
Hear! Hear! Southend will fancy their chances much more than the majority of us will fancy the trip down there. Small crowd, long journey, good chance of being beaten.
