Received this, from a mate down south, this morning followed by quite a few others from the address list declaring complete bewilderment over how it works.
http://digicc.com/fido
How thick is your average southerner?

"Pick a number completely at random with lots of different digits" Not completely at random then, is it?
Salt of the Eeeeeeaarth So **** off. Dunt forget, we pay your f'kin dole money. Well, them wi proper jobs any road.
I saw three wheelbarrows full of cash Heading up the M1 only this morning. Robbed from some poor southerners pay cheque, to be frittered away by some of the great unwashed in the North
exactly! 3333 is just as random as 3456 if you ask a group of people to write down eg a 3 digit random number it isextremely rare to find anyone at all who writes down 3 repeated digits
another one -ask people to randomly place eg 25 dots in a 1 inch square box-the vast majority place them equally spaced-hardly anyone eg puts all 25 crammed into one corner

Re: exactly! 3333 is just as random as 3456 It's quite impressive how much simple things like not repeating digits can reduce the effectiveness of a key used for encryption, for example. I vaguely remember studying this stuff in a former life.
RE: Do you often ask people to put dots in boxes? Dot's Mott.
You do know we'll get relegated ?

RE: Do you often ask people to put dots in boxes? No we won't. We'll finish fourth or fifth bottom on 51 points. Fact on a stick.
Amazing what signing umpteen players and spending over £2 million of your English pounds will get you.
You're an operation away from it though. I think that should be the new scarey story. People waking up with a headache and finding out they've had the gender changed by fanny/****/breast harvesters. It's true. It happened to a friends of a friends cousin, in Scotland.
That mindreader one ...... that did the rounds a couple of years back. That used to baffle me (it dunt take much). The one where you had to think of the next symbol and it always got it right.
I worked it out once, only to forget it again the next day.
