    Unfortunately not anyone will do, but the way he's not giving the youngsters a go and sticking with the likes of Henderson seems to ne that he's not keeping up with the demands of the job

    For all his shortcomings he's the best manager we've had in a long time. Swapping him for a possible muppet would be madness.

    Yeah that football last night was terrible, his team selection are crazy. Don’t know how James Ward-Prowse doesn’t get look in.

    I think people have forgotten the days when we couldn't qualify for tournaments or went out in the group stage.. be careful what you wish for.

    Southgate was and is a terrible appointment for England, some will say he got us to a semi final and a final, I would say he lost us both those games, far too negative and sticks with players that should be no where near the international set up.

    Southgate seems really good when it comes to tournament football. He creates a really good atmosphere and mentality, the players clearly want to play for him, and he has the second best tournament record of any England manager.

    But I'd love it if he took the handbrake off for friendlies/qualifiers against lower ranked opposition.
