HIBS boss Mixu Paatelainen has admitted star defender Rob Jones could leave Easter Road this summer. The giant Englishman has been linked with a move to Championship side Nottingham Forest and Paatelainen said: "I don't know if we can hold on to him. We'll need to wait and see." (Scotsman)

We've already missed out on a good replacement

Should have gone in for Darren Purse

I'd rather play myself instead of Darren Purse slower than Moore & a thug to boot.

Could you imagine him & Moore has 1st choice centre halfs??

My Grandma would out pace them

So you're putting yourself or your Grandmad forward then?

They wouldn't be first choice centre halves anyway - it would be Foster plus one of them

So why should we have signed Purse on x amount a week if he may not have been a regular starter??

    Wednesday are welcome to him.

why take a player rejected by a club at our level?

if he's not good enough for Cardiff then he's not good enough for us in my opinion!

Burnley didn't want Stephen Foster. They rejected him.

Why take a player who is 30 years old and never played at a decent level?

This Jones might be a late developer or he might be crap. Either way he will cost. There would have been no fee for Purse and he is proven at this level

Hibs were after a million for Jones earlier in the season from Forest nt

not very popular I'm sure but I think Dennis was a decent squad player....I dont think he made any more mistakes than Moore or Fozzy over the full season. That said, I'd go for Nyatanga. WOuld take a decent bid but we would have a player with 10 years left in him and one that wouldn't depreciate in value for years to come. (he is also very good in my opinion)

It would be nice to have a couple of fullbacks who can kick with both feet.Thats why Dennis and Lewin give so many free kicks away when they have to tackle with their balancing leg.The penalty against Hull last season by Dennis was because he couldn't slide tackle with his right foot.

You don't want much then! Full backs that can kick with both feet!
This is Barnsley! Chelsea and Man Utd have got the English and French left backs in their teams and they can't kick/tackle with their right feet so what chance have we got of finding a pair of "two footed" full backs!
    Dream on!
