Dark days. Davey has lasted longer than any of them, long live stability.

5 absolutely shocking appointments. Still, you need to have been THAT bad to realise how decent our current squad is.

West Brom - Former Prem team and we played a young side. Grimsby- Rag arse Rovers. By this stage we couldnt physically pass the ball to each other.

Not so much Thordarson but the regime at the club at the time.

    Redstar is spot on....

Me and him met Gudjon at a supporters club meeting and he was a really good bloke with a plan and vision. Unfortunately Ridsdale wanted him out and did not give him any support so he could bring that miserable useless old lovely person Phart in. If my memory serves me right we had one striker at start of season (Fallon) and sold him about November.

Davey is doing a good job and its all going well something we are all very pleased about but the board have backed him this year and he has spent a lot (not all wisely by any means) and lets not forget:-

    Wednesday 0-3
    Colchester 0-3
    Norwich 1-3
    Coventry 1-4 (twice)
    Ipswich 1-5
    Southampton 2-5
    WBA 0-7

I think Nyatanga played in all these games except Wednesday an all

Thordarson did very well for us he built a team from nothing with nothing.
He barely had a squad of players with three weeks to go before kick off and didn't have half a pre-seasons preparation.
Can't remember any manager who had less to work with than he did.

He ranks 8th best manager on pauld's stats.
Harsh comment to say the least.

I thought Thordarsson was doing a decent enough job in a tricky situation until it became painfully obvious that he wasn't wanted by his boss. The rest of the managers were all a load of tosh. Davey is doing a great job. Kept us up when we were looking like a relegation candidate. And has transformed the club (in one summer) into a genuine Championship club, without breaking the bank (£1m or so spent). But lets not forget that Andy Ritchie did the donkey work of getting us out of the alehouse league, and entertained us on the way.

If I remember correctly, he came in and the football started to flow again. His 'second' match against Wednesday, we played them off the park - and again lost. OK he wasn't great with Radio Sheffield - but is Davey or Shepherd!!!!
