If it gets us results , and improves performances , it will turn out a good thing though

I remember the Spackman days with horror. He threw our money about like they had a press beneath the east stand. I never wanted to see those days again. But does Flitcroft deserve the comparison/ Five further questions to help you determine the answer:

    1. In view of the limited number of players offered contract at the end of their apprenticeship (just 4 I think), is Flitcroft right to make signings in order to supplement the under 21 squad.
    2. Was Flitcroft right to offer new contracts to the player who did so well at the end of last season.
    3. Was Flitcroft right to bring in other players to increase the depth of that squad.
    4. In view of the perceived lack of quality in the new squad, is Flitcroft right to add loanees to that squad.
    5. Is Flitcroft right to increase the number of players in advance of loaning out those who may be surplus to his requirements.

As sir dave brailsford would say 'the less resources you have, the more resourceful you become' is this the key difference between this season & last?
