This will have you bawling and hitting the donate button. The amazing story of Miley.
FFS Paul, I'm crying like a good 'un now! All the dogs we've had have been rescue dogs. They need that bit more patience, care, love and understanding at first. However, once they realise they're safe in a loving home, they return your affection ten fold. If I had the room to take any more, I would.
Our two are rescued too. I'd love a dog down here, but my place just isn't suitable. Doesn't stop me trawling the adoption pages though. Here's Fiona's story, WARNING another very high man-bawl rating!!
That's the last one I'm going to watch. I'm in a right state. If you post any more, I'll ignore them. My little dog Bella is laid on my foot asleep. I daren't move, otherwise I'll wake her up. Once she does awaken, she can get ready for some cuddles. This thread is doing nothing for the macho image I'm trying to cultivate!
They are fantastic videos Paul. I adore my dog and it breaks my heart and makes me livid to see how some are treated by so-called humans. I can't get my head around what makes somebody want to be cruel to animals.
You're safe, that's enough for tonight. I made it through 4 videos, but a 3 legged little terrier called Watson has done for me. Point was, there are local rescue centres such as Barc, who could certainly do with help this year. Even if it just means using their charity shops or donating unwanted gifts and stuff.
