Need to get rid of some old storage heaters and convector heaters that are hard wired. Am looking to replace them with some fancy new electric central heating ones that come with 13a plugs.

How easy is it to wire in some new sockets? My only worry is the fuse side of it as the hard wire sockets don't appear to have a fuse anywhere.

Any advice is appreciated. Loads on the internet but none really helpful and a bit too teccy.

If sockets are already in place just replace the facias for ones with fuses. Or am I misunderstanding?

Just take the plugs off and wrap the wires around the wires from the mains*

    *Please don't try this!

Replace the outlets with single sockets

It is that straightforward if the original cable is satisfactory
