'Both full backs far to slow'

'that right winger is crap, he's pinching a living'

I couldn't disagree

Devaney - thought he was great last year , but he probably isn't technically good enough for this league. He'll probs end up at someone like Oldham/tranmere/bradford next year.

If we manage to stay up, then new full backs have got to be a priority, the amount of goals we have conceded from those areas this year is scandalous - hopefully the dossier should have recognised that - Eckersley has looked poor from what I have seen of him.

Devaney

thatll be why watford got rid before even trying him in this league, he couldnt have lost last year though, every team he played for got promoted through the play offs, cheltenham, watford and barnsley

Don't think he's been bad this season. He was better when we had McIndoe on the other wing, instead of Howard who is playing out of position. The team is not level on both sides of the park. I think he has been abit of a 1 trick pony the last few games, but you can't knock his work rate, and lots of teams this season have put 2 men on him all game anyway. His crosses, when they get into the box are usually good, he sent in that cross that Ferenczi put away last week and has done others this season

That'll be why they double marked him then!

Did they mention anything about Liam Miller being a cynical little tw*t?

Whatever. You'll be happy though cos he's not likely to

be here next season anyway.

i really like the guy - the effort he puts in is superb

he's quick and can be very effective.

I just think he has been found out at this level - his main trick is to knock the ball past the full back and use pure pace and power to get to the bye-line or in to the box. It worked in league one but this season, the full backs are better and don't dive in so much which makes it a lot more difficult for him.

If we are in League One next year then I would like to see him here for the above reasons. However, if we are in the championship I think we should look elsewhere as we build and develop - if you compare him to McIndoe then there's really no contest.

McIndoe - technically good enough for this level
Devaney - Probably not.

Altho, with the right fans and encouragement, Devaney could be an Championship Vetarn. Ok, not good enough for any Premiership team, but too good for leaugue one. Like i say, right club and fans, he'll always be a good player.

He's not alone.

Colgan - struggling
Austin - not good enough for this league
Paul Reid - see Austin
Nyatanga - class, but not ours
Heckingbottom - see Paul Reid
Devaney - see Colgan
(Kyel Reid 63) - not good enough for this league yet
Togwell - very decent defensive midfielder
McCann - pointless
Howard - possibly our best player wasted out wide
Ferenczi - good old Istvan
Rajczi - not shown much yet
(Nardiello 70) - get rid
Subs Not Used:
Lucas - is he fit?
Kay - possibly the best defender we own
Eckersley - looks lost

I think Lewin, Togwell, Howard, Ferenczi & Kay can hold their own in this league.
It's not enough.
We're down.

I would get shut for someone who can actually cross a ball instead of doing countless stepovers before generally losing it.
He looks good but fails to deliver, we dont need a showpony

Look elsewhere? Yep, there'll be loads of quality Championship

players queueing up to join us on free transfers won't there? Just like last summer. Penny hasn't quite dropped has it?

if you adopt that attitude then you may aswell pack up and go home

the point is that Devaney is probably not good enough for this league and therefore, we will need to look elsewhere - you never know, we may just pick up a bargain.

I really don't know why you have to be so constantly obnoxious in your posts.

Bargains are very rare I'm afraid. Out of Davey's signings

so far how many have made the grade and improved the team? Stan and Nayatanga (loanee)? To finance that we've lost McIndoe. I really think, whatever league we're in after this season we'll be scratting around for free transfersand the better free agents will be going elsewhere for higher wages.

I'm not obnoxious to everyone, sorry if I came over that way, I get used to replying that way to some of the idiots who post on here so it becomes a bit of a habit.

Devaney is like shuker and mcphail comined....

the other 4 or 5 games,
