    no , reasonably reliable as they know of people inside the club - but like anything , could be absolute balls. bates has the money to back for big signings as he did with blackwell. wise has apparently identified him as someone they would like to sign. thats all.

    One of their reserves was telling my mate.....

    ...that they were offering £400K.

    Can't remember the guys name but he's come off the bench for them a couple of times this season.

    I reckon he was just trying to retalliate to the piss being taken out of him for losing to us, but maybe not.

    Then again would he really know. Can't imagine Gordon telling say Nicky Wroe or Dale Tonge who he's after.
