For those who can remember my flashing incident a week last Friday I still haven't heard owt 10 days later. Is that normal or can I breath a rather large sigh of relief?
I was flashed by a camera btw and I haven't taken to wearing rather long coats....well not yet anyway.

I've been flashed! On the way to manc airport one morning...never heard owt.
Mindsthi I wouldnt bank on a result until 3 months is up.
Fancy a game setdi vs blunts?

Count me in mate Sorry I couldn't make Saturday due to getting last minute Yorkshire tickets for nowt.
I'll come along.
Where are you playing this week?

I haven't played for 18 months due to the knee op I can play anywhere like.
In my Barnsley days I was a centre forward.
In my West Green days I was a Wing Back.
In my later years played Centre half.
Take your pick!!

from safetycamera.org The law states that a Notice of Intended Prosecution must be served within 14 days on the keeper as recorded at DVLA, Swansea. My reading of that is if you get a letter on satdi, a pint before the match will taste sweeter than normal!
Thats what I thought... I'm registered as the cars keeper at my address so Saturday is judgement day.
I'm off work all week so I'm going to stop the postman posting any letters upto Friday.
Have that Highways agency.

Forest no-show..cancelled friday aft... leaving us with a 60quid pitch booked and no game.
Could have had a game vs Mansfield if I'ld have known earlier in week.
Not to worry 7 of us had a 2 hour kick about...still ached yesterday so my unfitness is confirmed. No recurrance of hamstring injury though so good enough.

Give it an extra 3 or so days I reckon 17 or 18 days should be enough. It's true that they have 14 days to serve you notice but that is to send it out, not for you to recieve it. So whilst you may not get it till day 16, they might have sent it out a few days earlier.
Better than celebrating too early.

It's supposed to be 14 days And they're supposed to send it recorded delivery to make sure you get it. But, they normally just send it first class, some people claim never to have recieved it, which, I'm not sure they get away with. Good luck anyway, and if you do get any points, feel free to donate them to the reds Championship cause!
flashes happen a lot but the cameras don't have film in that often. often do the flashes to **** you up. they work in a similar way as those signs which flash saying "slow down 30"
I'm hoping anyway! Been playing poker lately?
I'm having a bad trot although I've just won 30 quid on a sit and go, the tourney pay outs have gone missing.

started playing again. play on betfair poker now but not being well at all. off to poker night in casino on sunday so should be good. £5 rebuy. came 4th and won £55 last time so should be fun. you ought to go - it's a good laugh
A lot would depend on what type of camera it is. If is a old gatso, with camera film that has to be collected, processed etc, then 14 days is the likely turnaround. Becuase it flashed you then that is what it will be, so you have little time left to wait. If it is one of these new fangled SPECS 'Average Speed' cameras, with a digital link straight to DVLA, that you commonly find in motorway roadworks these days, then it is feasble for the letter to be the post before you get back home from where you were travelling to.
you've probably left it a bit too late now, but it seems most people hedge their bets by simply setting fire to the camera!! (Not that I'm advocating criminal activity you understand, just pointing it out!) ff
