As it is Sunday I have a spiritual question for you.

Does whiskey have a date to be consumed by once the bottle is opened?

Tried telling the wife it does but she does not believe me

As a Scotsman I have to say that I have always thought that once opened a bottle of whisky should be drunk as quickly as possible.

Not so much of it going off but the thought of evaporation would break my heart.

Mmm interesting question...many years ago. I once asked a similar question ...what had nottingham forest and a bottle of whisky got in common.... Brian clough didnt quit until he got both of them to the bottom ......

No it doesn't but as others have said it is morally wrong not to have finished it within a few days, a week at most of it being opened. ;)

Whiskey will stay in the bottle forever but not be drinkable.

Whisky on the other hand should be drunk as possible quickly anybody before from you it takes ;)
