Sorry if posted not read any of this yet: "A lot of tackles went in and to be fair to the ref if he had picked everyone we'd have had nobody left on the pitch, that's for sure." You're not wrong Kevin you dirty set of barstewards.
Presumably that came out wrong! No wonder he dashed over to shake absurD'os hand after the final whistle.
As a referee, player, and a spectator,, I have never... known a Linesman (Assistant ref if you like) take a decision from the other half of the field. How the hell he can decide that Kozzie deliberately handled is beyond me. Handball has to be intentional. The advice I got, and stuck by, when I started refereeing, was if you have to think about it, then there is an element of doubt, therefore it's not a penalty.
RE: As a referee, player, and a spectator,, I have never... The deliberate element was taken out wasn't it? My interpretation was now that if the arms are not down by the side, and the ball would not have hit another part of the body, then it's a handball. I think the terms used were if it changes the flight of the ball. Something like that.
i have'nt seen it yet, but if its a penalty than fair enough, what gets my goat is thet d,urso is stood 50 yds away and dunt gi it, but the asst ****, who is stood up near SD, gives it, so either he's listednd to 6,000m utd fans, or he's inspector gadget, with his go-go-gaget eyes!!!
