Blackpool under the management of Simon Grayson - transfer policy of signing experienced Championship players and young Premier loanees on a small budget (smaller than ours?). After 9 games they are competing in the top half with some strong performances away from home to fancied teams. Good 'ol Barnsley under the stewardship of the 'Welsh numpty' that is Simon Davey - transfer policy of signing unknown third rate foreign players with no knowledge of the English game and overweight, unfit, injury-prone Premier loanees. Plus an aversion to signing any player that might be in the slightest bit left-sided and that has any kind of knack of sticking the ball in that netty thing at either end of the pitch. After 9 games we are in the bottom three and without even so much as a bleedin goal in almost 8 feckin hours. Thankyou Simon & goodbye. NOW **** OFF!!
An accurate assessment of a dire situation. I'm off to bed.

Wake me up when the arrogant fecker has gone will ya ?

I agree about the SD comments but I do believe he's brought some decent players in and under the right guidance we would show this.
His bad signings far outnumber his good ones. In all honesty I don't believe a change of manager can even save us from the drop this season. But it might just give us a bit of hope regarding getting back up next season.
