    I remember this being mentioned last year around this time too. Some people celebrate Christmas early when they know that a loved one is not expected to live until the 25th December.

    I still don't think I'd celebrate early it would all seem a bit fake or forced. I guess it might be different if I was in that situation but I can't imagine it

    A young child might not realise the date though. It could also be if someone serving in the armed forces is going to be away.

    Some lovely East European ladies have recently moved in to the flats near us, they've put a smashing red christmassy light in each window..I think it looks great, it might be a bit early, but no bah humbug from me.
