Anyone got any thoughts on any worthwhile bets:- Bolton Points 73 - 75 Wolves Points 72 - 74 Leicester Points 70.5 - 72.5 Cardiff Points 69.5 - 71.5 Birmingham Points 69 - 71 Blackburn Points 67.5 - 69.5 Leeds Points 67 - 69 Blackpool Points 66.5 - 68.5 Middlesbrough Points 64.5 - 66.5 Brighton Points 64 - 66 Hull Points 63.5 - 65.5 Nottm Forest Points 63 - 65 Sheffield Wednesday Points 62.5 - 64.5 Watford Points 62 - 64 Ipswich Points 62 - 64 Burnley Points 59.5 - 61.5 Derby Points 58.6 - 60.6 Charlton Points 58 - 60 Huddersfield Points 57.4 - 59.4 Millwall Points 54.5 - 56.5 Crystal Palace Points 53.5 - 55.5 Bristol City Points 51 - 53 Peterborough Points 48 - 50 Barnsley Points 46 - 48 Moving into L1, I am surprised they have the Blunts are favourites at 77.5 - 79.5. I'd be mightily surprised if they did anywhere near as well as last season without Ched Evans, and the cuts they've had to deal with. Had a few quid on them. Just cant decide what to do about the Reds. A few weeks ago i thought we'd struggle to get 40 points, but with the recent signings I am a little more optimistic. On paper I beleive our starting squad is stronger than last year.
Don't fully understand spread betting, but i'd be very suprised if Forest get anywhere near 63 points, reckon they'll struggle. Same too with Watford. Personally think Burnley will get more. And I reckon Millwall could be down with the christmas trimmings.
the "spread" is the experts/bookies/fools view on how many points we will get, you either then gamble by selling or buying £ per point depending if you think we will get less or more than the spread....
The best bet could well be Dagenham & Redbridge ( div. 2 ) 53+ points. they finished last season with 15 points from their last 8 games W4 D3 L1. That sort of form would give them approx. 76 points
Sheff Wendy, 62 to 64? What's that, the period they were last successful? They're more likely to drop than us, IMO.
So far, I've had a punt on Rotherham to do well, Sheff U to do poorly, and Burnley to do well BTW Whitey, mightily impressed with your blog. Been doing a lot of research into setting up a blog for work, and I can appreicate how much effort you have put into it. All the reader sees is the end product, but theres a lot more to it than just typing a few words into a box. Also, the content is very good . hope that you can find the time to put as much effort into it as the season progresses.
