'Paul looks a different player under Simon Davey and has been given the freedom to run at players instead of having his back to goal. He looks full of confidence, has pace and he has been excellent on the right hand side.'

If only the fans would echo this. He gets so much unwarranted abuse. A guy who sits behind me was saying 'fcking hayes...FFS hayes...that hayes is ****...if he doesnt take hayes off in a minute i'm going'. He was by far our best player on saturday and I just wish he had support from his fans. Everytime he touches the ball you can hear around oakwell that people are just waiting to have a go. SORT IT OUT LADS!

    Fkin spot on.

Hayes' touch and close control are a step above. Of course, cos he's not wiping out centre halves then he's no good. Absolute top quality laiker, but we'll all figure that out when he's moved on.

First game on the wing under Davey he looked lost and had a very, very poor game. Since then, seen allot more of him and Sunday he had a great game. Seems to have abit more confidence in himself, and maybe that comes from the manager too. Glad to see him score.

He is one player that potentially could do well in this league.

    Totally agree

I just find him frustrating when he's having one of those games where he seem disinterested and lazy.
