    £44 a ticket...

And that's without a ticket stub from playing Barnsley in 1997.

One word for fans who will pay that to watch a game of football... mugs. Unless people stop paying nothing will ever change and working class fans will continue to be priced out of the game.

I'm supposed to be going to Spurs vs. Newcastle in February, no chance I'll be paying that much though!

And yet any money it's a capacity crowd, maybe with Swansea taking a reduced allocation. People moan, but 60,000 still turn up at Arsenal, 34,000 at Spurs, Anfield is never not packed, City charge 40-odd quid and tend to sell most seats. Ridiculous but if I knew I could sell out every week charging up to £50, I wouldn't be charging half that to appear reasonable.
