RE: Had a bad experience of Microsoft. It did. It quarantined my file sharing program and everything I'd downloaded through it. Couldn't get it back as it had already deleted the lot. It was a Beta version of MS. Still wouldn't use it again.
RE: Had a bad experience of Microsoft. Then you are one in a million. Been using it on about 40 computers for years now with no problems whatsoever. It's the same with vicious dogs, it's usually the owner that's at fault, but the dog gets the blame.
It does delete file sharing programs like soul seek And if any of the mp3s you've downloaded are still in the soulseek directory it will take those too.
RE: Had a bad experience of Microsoft. The version I used has not been available for years, it was only released this year. You can say what you want but it still happened and would not recommend it - this is my personal opinion.
RE: You haven't been using it for years as it hasn't been out that long Aye whatever. It's the best in my opinion anyhow.
Cheers Jay I wasn't making it up. It reight fecked me off. Wouldn't download the finished version just in case it decided to do things like that again.
RE: Fair enough. We all like different stuff It used to detect certain p2p's as spyware, but it doesn't now. It DOES however give you an option as to whether the files be deleted. The files should be moved from the download directory asap anyhow to avoid a record company lawsuit!!
RE: Fair enough. We all like different stuff It did not give me an option and the files weren't in the download directory.
Sad as I am I only download stuff from p2p software that I've already got on vinyl. I just don't agree with nicking music, which puts me in a category of one sad lonely Barsteward.
