    I think some do care about such things - being part of the "First Eleven" has some kind of kudos surely.

    Then again, I wonder if Ashley Ward or Martin Devaney cared about wearing the number 25 shirt? Probably not....

    They probably all get a say, to an extent, on which number they want. So Ward and Devaney were probably after 25 in the first place.

    Think Yiadom likes 17 (wouldnt look too much into that) same as Mowatt likes 27. 12 seems to be a dud number for some reason. Last player i remember who wore regulare no12 was Andy Liddell!
