    If I'm right we have

    Davies (Dibble)

Bree (Williams) Mawson (Roberts) Nyatanga (Cowgill) Smith (?)

Scowan (?). Hourihane (Abbott) Pearson (Digby) Rothwell (?)

    Watkins (Wilkinson) Winnall (Maris)

My prediction right now is 15th

As things are now 15th would be ok but surely we are aiming for better?

I think we are looking ok if we signed 3 players of quality and holgate stays. It's a big if.

Have to say I'm impressed with the players we have brought in and the young ins like Smith have a season behind em. I just think we are short on experience and numbers and need 3-4 to start the season strongly, maybe more if Hourihane and Winnall are out.

If it helps Hourihane told me at lunchtime he should be set for Chesterfield. Started running again.

It helps. He hasn't been an injury prone player so hopefully a one off and back in soon

I think that would have to be an option, but I'm not sure his defending is all that. He does carry the ball well though and has some pace.

I always think squad numbers are good marker for managers plans and key targets... From list below.
We are missing 6, 10 & 11. Although Mawson will play role of number 6. If we signed 2 quality experienced players to fill 10 & 11 spot and retain Digger and Holgate we are not to far away.

    1. Davies
    2. Bree
    3. Smith
    4. Roberts
    5. Naytanga
    6.
    7. Scowen
    8. Hourihane
    9. Winnall
    10.
    11.
    14. Digby
    15. Watkins
    16. Maris
    17. Abbott
    18. Wilkinson
    19. Pearson
    20. Rothwell
    22. Williams
    24. Dibble
    25. Phenix
    26. Mawson
    27. Holgate
    28. Cowgill
    No number assigned
Gooda, Drennan, Templeton, Scott, Evans, Maxwell

I really rate the lad from the 10/15 ish times I've seen him, he needs first team football asap, but that's going to mean giving him time and allowing him mistakes to improve and develop, I think a few substitute appearances on left wing would do him the world of good early on in this season.
