weaker squad than last year, inbalanced. gone the opposite way to last season - not enough strikers and too many defenders. we are woefully short of cover up front, if Nardiello gets injured, who's gonna score the goals? we're a small but nippy side, not the ideal formula for League 1.

seriously, I will be surprised if we finish in the top half with the current squad.

midfield and up front are ok, but we are short of a leader at the back

We dont seem to have realized the failings of last season. No height,no power/no pace,no presence,no will to win,(NOOO)

My annual football post is below :

    Nads isn't quick.
His runs are clever & he knows where the onion bag is.
But he aint quick at all.

And he's got a spacky back.

How can you say that midfield and up front are OK?
We have three out and out strikers not counting Academy lads, not enough in my opinion. In midfield, we have two cripples: one left foot without a heart or anything else to go with it: then we have Kay, Burns and Shuker who are little more than average and Wroe who is never likely to be more than average. We don't know where Tonge will figure and I suppose the same could be said about Kay.
We need more cover and more competition in both areas.

How can you say that about Wroe?

He's never been given a decent run in his OWN position!:S

Same goes for Kay & Tonge
