    Who knows

    ...gone past caring tbh :D

What I will say though is that we haven't exactly spent big in the transfer market lately - and I don't believe for a second that Chopra is going to cost £4m. Nowhere near it. It's rumoured that Sunderland still owe us £2.5m & that's more likely to be written off imo.

Our signings this season have been Peter Enkelman & Chris Burke on freebies, Jay Bothroyd for £300k, Gabor Gypes £300k, Ross McCormack £120k & Miguel Commingues for £100k. Sorry, add Quincy Owusu Abeyie on a free as well. £820k or thereabouts which doesn't seem that bad to me.

But we've sold Glen Loovens for £3m, Aaron Ramsey for £5m and had decent runs in the Carling Cup & FA Cup. We also got big earners like Robbie Fowler, JFH and Trevor Sinclair off the wages bill and were helped by record S/T sales of 14500 (we've sold 12500 for next season already as well btw on the back of the new stadium).

It would appear that the Riddler may have learnt a few lessons from his past - I'm certainly hoping so but you never know (chinny)

Give me him over Sam Hammam any day though.
