St Mirren to get a good pay out if Mallen sold on .........

    .........and so should Mallan himself.

    That is to say - the club pays a percentage to the club he originally comes from BUT should also incorporate into his contract a sell on agreement so he receives a sizable percentage of the sell on fee.

    With the understanding that the club will make him available for sale when a decent price can be gained for him.

    This might, just might, get a player to sign a rolling contract.
    Which would ultimately benefit the player financially - while at the same time also benefiting Barnsley for all the time, effort and money spent on the player developing him.

    As Hecky said:
    We need to get better, we need to sell the right player - for the right money - at the right time.
