Horrendous. Luckily I'm in England. All family and friends seemingly accounted for, but it happened on the metro line down to my place, a route which my family and I travel several times a week. I feel physically sick.
Horrible. My brother is in Russia ever other week with work. He narrowly escaped the bomb that went off in Moscow airport about 5 years back. St Petersburg is a beautiful city. Awful for the families. Equally awful is the current spate of civilian casualties caused by the recent Russian and American bombing of ISIS in Mosul. And the Chemical attacks that have killed dozens of innocent men, women and children. Is terrifying to think with people like Putin and Trump in charge, human casualties are almost insignificant to their aim. Which in turn will lead to more attacks like those in Russia. Where even more innocent people will get killed.
