i have just got back and have calmed down a bit, the thing that annoyed me most apart from the result was as the players were leaving the pitch the anouncer said well played chris morgan, this at atime when emotions were running high, this is after all the work from both managers and clubs to play down the morgan/hulme theme all week, wasn't it only a couple of weeks ago at preston thier p.a was pulled over the rollers over a glib remark re an own goal, rant over!!!!!!! you can clearly see why brian howard doesn't fit into there tactics (furious) (furious)
Couple of years back when we drew with Southend in an FA cup match, Michael Coulson headed/punched the ball over the line and the announcer aparently said after the match that the teams had to replay because 'the striker clearly punched the ball over the line', got away with it too if i remeber right, get away with murder some of these announcers.
