Just reading it in paper now.. it says: 'Today, Ferenczi is likely to be on the bench at Anfield as Barnsley manager Simon Davey sticks with his recent pairing of Jon Macken and Daniel Nardiello.' (doh)
"Ten miles away in the Peak District, the sun is shining. In Barnsley, rain is in the air."
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Sometimes you feel like explaining patiently to themthat they could do something radical and describe Barnsley as it really is, that they could stand out from the rest by reporting truthfully what Hristov said and other times you just feel like knocking alltheir vaccuous southern heads together.
It's when you read stuff in the nationals about something you're actually clued up on that you realise all the rest is probably ******** as well.

RE: "'It's a huge game for them, isn't it?' said Ferenczi." I think he is right. It is a massive game for them. Their fans know it is realistically their best chance for a trophy this season. And they are also very worried about a shock. Work with a couple of ST holders and they don't feel great about this game. Big pressure at LFC at the moment. Big money spent and underachieving again.
I don't doubt it is a big game for them But it's quite a big game for us too. That's what made me laugh.
RE: "Ten miles away in the Peak District, the sun is shining. In Barnsley, rain is in the air." Watched the Brian Howard interview on Barnsley TV yesterday, there was a female reporter in the room who didn't know who he was. She asked him about the Moyes connection thinking he was our manager. She said "I thought you looked young" when he told her who he was. The standard of reporter these days is abysmal. I am sure fans of other 'smaller' clubs notice it too when it is their club. If you are not in the PL then you don't matter.
haha - brilliant stuff. I was at Liverpool v Marsille, should have gone with Stan! Wearing my Ferenczi away shirt today, be class if he scores!
Its not a pretty place.........!!!...............in comparrison to where ??? Get in the car.........start at Stables Corner and drive the full length up the M1 Motorway until it reaches the junction of the A1 / A64 east of Leeds. Which part of that journey is the most attractive ??? I'll give you a clue - it starts at Wortley(?) Golf Course and finshes at Wooley Edge Services Obviously the reporter is NOT very well traveled
I was thinking that. Surrounding parts of Barnsley are very scenic, ie Silkstone, Cawthorne, Penistone etc Muppets.
Obviously in comparison to inner city Liverpool! It's amazing the way they come out with it, it's no more or less a pretty place than many other towns and cities in the UK - my fiancée from Philadelphia visited and liked the town, the accessibility of things, the proximity of beautiful countryside a short drive away.
Crap isn't it? I could probably name 15 players from every squad in this division, the Premier League and at least 11 from the majority of teams in League One.
RE: Obviously in comparison to inner city Liverpool! It's basically a journalist who has done no research whatsoever (The Macken and Nardiello pairing being a prime example) and has just churned out a number of well worn and mostly untrue cliche's. Makes my f-ing blood boil that they can get away with it.
Like everyone's been doing on here all week about Liverpool Thieving scousers, living in slums, no jobs - yes it does make your blood boil
