Standing applause when we walked in the pub and this am

people shaking my hand and cars tooting as i proudly walked along the prom to get the papers
its brilliant to be a red

Or were the car horns because you kept wandering into the road whilst reading the papers?

Driving home last night, there was a crowd outside the pub at Cundycross roundabout all cheering, same at Cudworth Vic. Brilliant stuff!

 

memories of day after promotion, walking down summer lane

and bleary eyed drivers (who probably shouldnt have been driving) tooting and everyone we met just sporting silly grins, it was fantastic, best hangover i ever had
