I've felt quite confident about today's game(s) so far, but some terrible thoughts are creeping in my mind now... I just hope that Charlton are determined enough to take Norwich down with them, and that Plymouth players are already thinking of their summer holidays, but it's not going to be easy. We'll probably try to defend for the whole 90 minutes again, and then Plymouth score on the last minute... NO NO NO I MUST STAY POSITIVE S) I can't concentrate on anything else, thank you very much for ruining my weekend Simon Davey. You can still save it though if we don't lose today...
Charlton will want a result after such a poor season, def think they can get something against Norwich. Spoke to the in-laws who are Norwich fans and looks like Croft and Shacknell are def out of the game (two big players). Totally gutted not in Plymouth though, why did Pink bloody decide to play in London this weekend and the best mate of the wife get her a weekend ticket!............ left holding the kids
RE: You didn't have a Dil Raj last night did you mate? I had a severe drinking session, that was enough! Very nervous, watching on t'internet at home so I can have two matches plus the World commentary running simlutaneously!
Nope Had a typical "tea" at the cricket club, that's all (well apart fom several cans of Fosters) Just severe nerves, apprehension, guilt (about whether I should have gone), fear, you name it. Fortunately I planned ahead. I clipped my nails yesterday.
Watching? As far as I know, our game isn't going to be shown on any channel...? I'm feeling quite envious for those who are going to the game today - the return trip will be absolutely awful if we lose (and Norwich win) but if we don't, it'll be worth every penny and more! I still remember that Norwich match when we got relegated very well, and in some perverse way I'm glad that I was there that day, haha... At least it made the playoff final victory taste so much sweeter.
Cacking it. Woke up this morning at 7 and it was on my mind immediately. Its been a long day so far and getting slower.
sorry, meant catching the match - hve forgotten English in my nervous state! That Norwich relegation game was too dire for words.
I put 30 on yesterday. Though the 180 quid I stand to win if it does all go tits up won't even begin to compensate for relegation and all that goes with it.
