Which whizz kid TV exec thought it would be a good idea to try and make an exciting programme based on an amusement arcade game that's been running, to my knowledge, for 60+ years? Tipping Point must be the biggest load of tripe EVER on a TV screen.

I generally cannot stand Saturday night tv (or ITV generally) but there was a family magic show on recently which was actually quite good....but they axed it. Maybe it's just me not in tune with the rest of the country.

Only programmes I watch on TV are the news, QI, Have I Got News For You and The Simpsons. Everything else is complete tripe, in my opinion.

I would never pay anything bar my TV licence when it comes to the box. No subscriptions for me thanks!

To be fair, if you watched them solely on catch up save yourself 140 quid.

I might be wrong, but doesn't your TV licence cover any AV equipment including laptops, computers, etc?

If I recall the need for one is only required if your watching live broadcasts...

Ergo catch up TV, gaming and DVDs means you don't have to buy one
