Sunderland had only 4 shots on target and they all went in - and Davis not at fault for any They also had 4 shots off target We had 4 shots on target + 2 blocked shiots + a further 7 off target It just wasnt our day today - we were on top when the Ref gave them the first goal and then we switched off for 10 minutes - not sure there was too much between the sides to be honest and had we been gifted the tirst goal it could well have been a different result
9 points off top spot 5 behind 2nd. Some tough games coming. Need to find our form again and stay in touch or it will be play offs for us.
Not sure what faith has to do with it. I'm confident we will make the play offs I would like us to be fighting for automatic. Just pointing out that could slip away quickly.
I remember a couple of scrambles in their box but did their keeper make a decent save? For all our possession and territory I don't think we really created much as our final ball let us down again. We're far too slow on the ball and don't make the passes that bypass players often enough. Sunderland should have been out of sight by the time we really got our act together. So in relation to the stats, they scored four and missed the other two best chances of the game, arguably three best chances. Never a penalty though.
