Yep, you can certainly see why there is some booing!

I think Hill is as frustrated with the lack of progress as the fans, and that's why he is having a pop at us.

Don't get me wrong, I like the fact that he wants to play attractive passing football, but he might have to get used to the idea that we haven't the players to do it.

Pass and move football needs players that are good at passing and moving, at a decent pace.

If they can't do that, then he might have to be a bit more prosaic. Eg. 4-4-2 with two wingers getting balls into the box for 2 strikers. It might not be the modern way top teams go about it, but we are not a top team.

If he still wants to play 4-2-3-1, the wide attacking players have to carry a goal threat when it switches to 4-3-3 in the attacking phase eg. so 2 from 3 of Haynes, Vaz Te, and Davies. I don't think O'Brien or Done do this, and that was one of the problems on Saturday. It's less of a problem away from home, when play is more on the counter from a 4-5-1 defensive set up.

However he sets us up, we have to move the ball forward faster and players have to move into space more; it's just too static and easy to defend against at the minute.

And yes, I reserve my right to boo if it's s h i t. He needs to cotton on that we don't have the privelege of nipping into the dressing room and telling the players what we think. Booing is the only way of telling them it's not good enough.

Let's hope he's learnt from Saturday, both on and off the pitch.

If we continue to play like we did in the first half on Saturday then he and the players needs to get used to booing because it will only get worse as the patience of more and more fans is tested to breaking point.

I agree with most of that.

Trouble he has wide left is when he plays someone who knows where the net is Haynes, Vaz Te or Davies out wide they dont do or want to do the defensive side of the game leaving Jay Mac exposed plus all 3 want to play up front and look better players in that position.
