    just as a matter of interest, has any team with 11 points after 8 games ever got relegated out of this league?

    at least one Millwall 95/6 </p>

    after 8 games had 17 pts</p>

    finished 22nd with 52 pts and went down on goal difference</p>

    but it was a rarity</p>

    in 1998/9 Bury had 15 pts and went down in 22nd place with 47 pts on goal difference</p>

    I think they are the only two since the division went to 46 teams</p>

    Wednesay are awful and have no prospect of getting any better.QPR are going through a transitional period too.

    But a change of manager can change a clubs fortunes dramatically as we know.Hope Leeds do turn it around but finish below the Reds.

    Hes on his way mate from what i understand be gone by middle of next week. I heard its just compensation that is to be agreeded. Players know hes on his way.

    I must admit I was dying with laughter and joy inside when Hull spanked them on FRIDAY NIGHT. I watched it with Owly. What a laugh! Surely we can tear them apart at their place. Our wingers will destroy them, but we never have any luck at Swillsboro.
    We need to beat the likes of Wednesday. Still gutted that we lost to such a poor Burnley side.

    Paul, any chance you can add the last relegation season to the bottom of the managers record spreadsheet? There is wilsons promotion and basset playoffs, but as avoiding relegation is more important this year I would like to see the comparison.
