    dont really know what to think of this transfer IF it does happen, his he really better than Jonny maken? what he has going for him over maken his is arieal ability, and i hope we arnt going down that route

    Would be a great signing. Good pedigree and the right age.

    Well, we're down to the last three...

    Phillips gone to Brum. Eastwood gone to Coventry. That just leaves us with possible deals for Riordan, Stead and Snodgrass - unless anyone out there knows any better. Not sure about Stead and it depends what sort of deal. Certainly worth a season-long loan, but I would place Riordan higher up the list, as he is different from the taller target-man type and possibly a better nicker of goals. Just glad we are in for big Jonny, though!

    Never seen Jon Stead on left wing....

    not saying he has'nt or cant play there, just never seen him myself, and can't see him offering anything down left.

    22 of those came when he played for Huddersfield, if we are going to sign him we should'nt pay a penny over £750,000.
