I'd take them all. You have to admire Keano's stance with under performing players. They were warned and he stuck to his word. SD take note.
Garvan is very highly rated Surprised they're willing to let him go. We've so many strikers can't see us having room for any more, even if far better than most we've got.
RE: Stead is class at this level it says all 3 been told wont play 4 club again so somet gone off there
Stead & Garvan would be box office... don't need Quinn... Priority is clearance for O'Neil Thompson! Personally I would love to see both Garvan and Stead Join. Stead is prolific at this level and would be in my starting XI, he is also a useful left winger. Garvan is a promising talent, but I very much doubt he would come here as other clubs with bigger budgets would no doubt be interested i.e. the blunts. But agree that our defence is still a priority, and looks weak. We have little back up for centre back and left full back positions which is a real worry. Still feel Michael Ball (x-Man City) is worth a look (currently without a club) or consider loanee from premiership club.
You've gotta wonder about Roy Keane....... Colin Healy - signed....... Owen Garvan - Transfer Listed I know who I'd prefer
If I were SD I'd sign Stead and offload Macken....... Macken would be awsome in L2.... are you listening Sven.
John Stead Definately worth a punt. We could try and get one of our under performing strikers out of the door then.
get shut of macken and odejayi bring stead in,simples hold on stead is a good striker, davey wont sign him.I said when he was available we should sign him and look what we ended up with!
Underperforming players? So, the answer to our underperforming players, is to bring in more underperforming players, from another struggling team? Yeah, I can see the logic in that... Seriously, if these players aren't good enough to get into a struggling Ipswich team, where the manager obviously wants them out of the club for a reason, then in what way should they be good enough for us? The last thing we need is more overrated, overpaid prima-donna's upsetting the apple cart. I'd bet my bottom dollar that Stead, Garvan and Quinn are all on damn good wages and are not delivering the goods. Like I said, the last thing we want is players like that, who only want one thing; money.

I thought as much. We need players that want to play for the club, and deserve to wear that red shirt. We don't want or need anymore money hungry journeymen at this club. We've had enough.
Keane is after the cash to buy his mates from Sunderland etc These players would cost more than we can afford. However - a good player available for a fee we CAN afford is David Perkins at Colchester, who wants to return north. A little midfield dynamo with a great left foot. Trouble is, I don't think his position is a priority for us - £50k would probably land him. Garvan also has a great left foot, but we now have Hallfredsson.
