Double headed steam train special passes through Barnsley Station at 2.23pm Sunday 29th March 2009. Its coming from Sheffield, having arrived there from Manchester. Once through Barnsley station it takes the Huddersfield line, travelling through Summer Lane,Dodworth,Silkstone Common and on to Penistone, then Huddersfield. It's called the "Tin Hat Special", and the 2 locos pulling it are Black 5 No.45407, and Standard Class No.76079. Very rare to see steam locos on this line.
