Quote from Flitcroft. For once i cannot understand his logic, 28 especially for a keeper isn't old at all. Plus Tom Kennedy at 28 got offered a 2 year deal. I very much think we've lost Steele now

I'm not Luke's biggest fan but whoever's come up with that excuse seems to be losing it to me. They always say goalkeepers are coming in to their prime in their late 20's.

it basically equates to flitcroft thinking he can get better for lower wages, thats his perrogative and only he will end up with egg on his face if it goes wrong, but he is the manager and after last season he has the right to make these decisions, hopefully he will be proved right no matter what we think, for or against

You can't understand his logic because his logic doesn't make sense.

Don't agree with David Flitcroft on this issue

But he's the manager, he calls the shots. As much as I want both Bobby Hassell & Luke to re sign, I've certainly no intention of throwing the teddy out of the pram over it.

Laura's in the garden revising and has been joined by the two dogs, looking for a bit of shade, I'm reading The Lost Treasures Of Troy by Caroline Moorehead. Hope you and yours are well, mate.

Think we are about to lose Steele has hes coming into his prime, some other team will no doubt benefit from his best years

    Sadly, I think you're right

However, I'm still confident we'll avoid a relegation battle next season and will be comfortable in mid table.

well I think we have been reasonably lucky with keepers over the years

we seem to pick up decent ones, sometimes fantastic ones, but never really rubbish ones. IMHO I may add.

It's bollacks, he's being forced out. I suspect it's the senior pro paranoia Keith was suffering from. I think Bobby will go too, then it's a cleared deck.

    You barmy bugger!:D
However, you DID think it was stitched on for Terry Butcher to taker over in January. Forgive my reluctance to follow the reasoning. I'm an uneducated lout.

The paranoia Keith suffered from was fuelled by somebody...
