Only finance needs to be settled. Steele has established himself at the Oakwell No 1 ahead of Tony Warner, who was signed after Heinz Muller was injured and ruled out for the rest of the season. Warner has returned to Fulham. His loan spell ended yesterday. He played three games for Barnsley. Steele, who is only 23, became an instant Barnsley hero with his performance in the FA Cup tie win at Liverpool. He has won the player of the round award for that and part of his prize is to be on the VIP guest list at Wembley for the Cup Final. What do you think? Post your comments below. Barnsley Reserves drew 1-1 with Sheffield Wednesday last night. Barnsley striker Michael Coulson equalised after Deon Burton scored with a header at Hillsborough. Coulson goes straight back into the first team squad for Saturday's Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday at Oakwell. Last night's reserves' match marked Dwayne Mattis's return from serious injury. He broke a leg in October playing for Walsall but came through 90 minutes last night.
