He was offered a 50% pay cut to remain here last summer, on a two year deal. I've no idea what that wage was, but the one year deal he eventually took at Rochdale was less. So I'm not surprised if - as rumoured - he's taken a three year deal at Scunny who'll probably be offering more than Rochdale can. Not getting any younger and not made a fortune in football. Got to feed the kids, pay the bills.

Its good that a club has taken a punt on him. I bet there werent many willin to gamble on him. Makes no odds to me like.
Aye. He cared that much that fast forward 12 months and he'd been part of the shower of ***** that went down and after this was finally confirmed he made a beeline for Dale. Useless. And a ******.
He was only a fraction of the shower of ***** though. Had some of the others had his attitude we may have faired slightly better.
What attitude's that? The one where he tries fighting with fans, then goes directly to Rochdale's promotion party the day we were relegated, or the bit where he turns down Danny's contract offer after standing by him over his match-fixing incident? Not to forget him screaming "break his ******* legs" when Berry had the ball at Spotland last season. Man's a bellend. And bang average at football. Not sure why some hold him in such regard unless they're friends with him or related etc.
