Yippee we've scored.... But I fail to feel the excitement sadly, everything we do looks robotic I know there following"the plan" but its boring to watch, we clap politely when we win a corner or create half a chance but theres no feeling behind it there's no "COME ON" with any passion, yes we'll win today I've no doubt but that won't mask the fact things are right at Oakwell
We're presently tickling them to death ...when we should be picking up the sodding great club and swinging that.
The last time I genuinely looked forward all week to go to the game on a saturday and knew I'd see the team giving it their all was 05/06. We actually had a go and tried to attack teams. Think thats it for me until he's gone now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Or what ever his name is, would have put ******** Ben but that's not allowed now the clubs running the forum, oops
My first game of the season. Can't shoot. Can't create chances from crosses because we've 1 striker against 3 defenders. Can't pass forwards apart from diagonal long balls to wide right, then if a cross comes in refer to my 2nd point above. Only look like scoring from set pieces. No entertainment value, win or lose. Boring football.
That's how I see it too. Plenty of possession in midfield and even out wide today and the defensive midfielders do their job but we don't create any what I would call REAL chances. We have to rely on our possession grinding out corners or free kicks to be able to get a ball in the box when there will actually be any red shirts in it.
