    He's clearly lost form, but he affords natural width which was badly lacking against Slovakia. He's a flat track bully so ideally suited to playing Iceland. Let's hope Pep's pep-talk worked.

    Seems to me that the whipping boy of the teams shortcomings are being placed on sterlings shoulders
    When in fact the problem lies firmly with Roy and his team seletions
    Roy is making the same mistake of trying to make players fit the system rather than the system fitting the players we have

    Sterling has recovered after a dip in form over the last few days
    But it has to be expected after the European ebs and flows
    Personally I think it's going to be a few months before there's any sort of level of normality
