Nice relaxed bloke, lets the game flow, doesn'tpick up on the slightest thing.
witbarnsleydowntoninemenart

Bolder of Sheff W should've gone on saturday Kicked Leon, ref let it go with just a warning. Kozluk's first foul = yellow card. Bolder then got booked for diving.
Howard was lucky not to get booked an'all the daft sod.

Tudgay after he got clobbered by Kozluk was not going to react but then he had a quick shufty at the ref and decided to roll round 15 times :'(
noticed that on Championship. Looked up, and prob realised Kozluk had got booked earlier so rolled, and rolled, and rolled again for good measure!
Kozluk was lucky he wasn't sent off first half For all the work Howard did in desperately trying not to get involved in the game so as not to pick up a caution, to then go and dive was, well, pretty much what I expected from the daft bleeder. We any chance at all against Chelsea or is it going to be embarrassing?
RE: Kozluk was lucky he wasn't sent off first half It's been embarrassing v QPR and Wednesday so I don't hold out much hope. Unless we've been lulling Chelsea's scouts into a false sense of security like.
On national TV (well, the BBC) I just hope we put some effort in and look like we want to play, because the last 2 games imho have been a disgrace. Weather conditions this, injuries that, we've been rank.
Chelsea did West Ham 4-0 at Upton Park, I wouldn't be surprised with the same result against us. Yours, negative, not proper fan esq.

If a player's genuinely hurt why on earth would he want to spend the next five minutes rolling around? Refs should try and use some discretion but to be fair when you have blatant gamesmanship like that it makes a difficult job even more difficult.
Cracking question. Surely when you're hurt, you don't feel like moving. But shock horror that wasn't the case on Saturday. Kozluk had to go, but a yellow for play acting should have followed.
Players rolling around in agony. It doesn't happen.

Two examples of players in agony - Edourda & Heinz Muller
Did they move at all or did they move as little as possible?
When you are properly injured you minimise movement, its a natural reaction in order to minimise pain and possible furhter injury.

RE: Players rolling around in agony. Thankfully when Davey made the stupid decision to let Muller play the second half, he moved around enough to keep a clean sheet for us.
RE: Players rolling around in agony. Personally thought it was the correct decision myself. 3 points v Colchester, 3 points that might help us stay up. Sometimes you have put your body on the line for the cause. Sometimes you have to make the big decisions and not shy away from them, Davey did that, we won.
RE: Players rolling around in agony. This rolling around thing is just part of the wider issue of players cheating, whether it be rolling around, diving, timewasting, elbowing in the face or whatever. So why not give a yellow card to ANYONE who appeals for ANYTHING, whether it be for a ball having crossed the line, a foul, a free kick, or the irritating cases where players appeal for a throw-in even when they know they were the last one to play the ball. This would take a lot of pressure of referees who are often bullied into giving decisions. It wouldn't solve the problem of gamesmanship entirely but IMO it would help.
RE: Players rolling around in agony. No, it wouldn't. Because managers would impress upon their players that they should under no circumstances appeal to the referee. If it can work in rugby union and to a lesser extent cricket, it can work in football too.
