    I'm not sure if Bruce will want to go or not if given permission. The plus side is he's got a long term job (with his Birmingham job not safe), but downside is Wigan are a smaller team.

    Bruce was looking for the potential new owner of Birmingham a few weeks ago to see if he had a future there after chairman David Gold told him that it didnt look good.
