Just before our game next week - new manager syndrome probably means we'll lose now.

    Why's he done that?

Thought Sunderland were in advanced talks with Moyes

    Probably a good guess.

Also don't think the hull owner would have been too impressed with him touting for the england job. Would have been worth a bet on him being the first sacking if he hadn't jumped.

Straight after promotion he brought up the suggestion he may not stay and needed to talk with owners to see what the best way forward was.

He perhaps saw the England job as a way out. Or maybe the owner has effectively constructively dismissed him for talking to the FA?

So glad we have the owner we have.

What owner chastises the manager for talks to manage their country

One that tries to change the whole ethos of a football club, including its name

He's packed in because the club are for sale and the Allams have said they will only get in loan players of free transfers . He'd agreed a fee with the fowls goalie Westwood and it's been vetoed. Only £2 million as well.

I think it's more to do with the owners there than the England job. Before the Euros had started press already had articles of him not being happy with transfer dealings. He wanted to get business done early for a very tough job of keeping them in the premiership. He's probably (rightly) lost patience in his lack of backing.
